What is a Google Gadget?

The Google Gadgets usually are little applications that run on multiple sites, including Google Personalized Homepage. Popular Google Gadgets reach tens of millions of users every week; even better, Google provides free hosting, free bandwidth and an easy way to submit your gadgets to the official directory, where users from all around the world come to find them. This is the gadget/widget that I coded mostly in JavaScript, VBScript, and HTML.

If you add this gadget on your personalized Google Homepage , it will show a daily featured picture with EXIF information, the story behind the image, and a TIP for photographers.

Just roll your mouse over the picture and don't forget to click for even more stuff such as original size, map of picture location, and visitors' world map.
